Golazo does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information. All data stays on your device.
Data Storage
All prediction data, group rankings, knockout brackets, and app preferences (including your dark/light theme choice) are stored locally on your device using AsyncStorage.
We do not have access to this data. If you uninstall the app, all locally stored data is permanently deleted.
Device Identity
Golazo uses a randomly generated device UUID to identify your device locally. This identifier is used only to associate your predictions with your device and is never transmitted to any server or third party.
Friend Groups & Social Features
If you use the Predictions with Friends feature, you may share a group code with others. No personal information is required to join or create a group — only a nickname you choose yourself.
Group codes and shared prediction data are stored locally on each participant's device and are not uploaded to any external server.
Third-Party Services
Golazo does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, or tracking services. The app does not make network requests that transmit personal data.
The app may fetch publicly available World Cup match data (schedules, scores) from open sports APIs. This is read-only and no personal data is sent.
Children's Privacy
Golazo does not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13. Since the app collects no personal information at all, it is safe for users of all ages.
Changes to This Policy
If we update this policy, the revised version will be posted at this URL with an updated date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
Continued use of the app after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
